How big is the puddle? Is it completely clear? It wouldn't be coolant (normally), definately not oil..

Have you checked your Power Steering fluid/brake/clutch fluid??

There are various vent tubes to remove any moisture, etc.. from different areas of your car like headlights, battery, fog lights, etc... I can't think of much else..

not sure what it is but its def a drain tube had the same thing on my ex... may very well be the sunroof... the smell may just be some collected resin in the tubing while the clear liquid(probably water) runs through the tubes

How long have you had this problem? Does it happen all the time? Or on just certain occasions?

if it's gas I would hope you could tell the smell, have you checked all your fluids?
brakes ect? If they are all good I would agree and just say it's a drain from sittin all winter.
