Default Civic Winter Storage Prep?

I own a 1995 Honda Civic DX Hatchback, I live in Wisconsin, We have very harsh Winters, my hatch is dumped wayyyy to low to drive in snow. I'm going to rent a spot in a garage to keep it out of the snow, but the car will not be driven/started all winter. I have a D16 out of a 2000 DX if that changes anything. I am wondering what I should do before the car get shut down for winter, this will be my 2nd time storing a car, last time the radiator cracked over the winter, and the tires all cracked and went flat (91 Eclipse), but I did nothing before I stored it. With this car it will be in a Garage instead of outside, and I plan on putting it up on jackstands w/o wheels to help save the tires, is this a good or bad idea?

Thanks in advanced

Not sure about what else to do as I have never had to do it, but putting the car on jackstands is a good idea.

If anything, I would just go and started up and let it run for a bit every few weeks or so, while on jackstands.

Seafoam or drain the gas, drain the radiator and block and fill with 100% antifreeze. The more water the more likely you are to freeze it and crack the rad. Jack stands a good idea for the tires. Clean the paint job finish and put a fresh coat of wax. I would change oil before starting it back up.

Afaik, letting it run for a bit may not let the engine heat up, and your engine will layer sludge on the valves or in the catalytic converter every few weeks or so. I would leave it off or do at least 50 miles every sunday afternoon.

Well, I did mean to run it until it reaches operating temp, but if he does have the ability to take it out for a run every so often, then that would be better.

I dont want to drive it at all in this area during the winter, the roads blow. I think I heard bad things about running pure antifreeze? Or was it pure water? Not just during storage/cold or w/e, just in general. Either way, fresh coolant, seafoam the gas, jack stands, and fresh oil before startup? What about my suspension, is it gonna get fucked up from being up on jacks so long and the suspension hanging down? Thanks
