Civic, tire size selection help (stock wheels)!
Hey guys, I just searched, and did find six posts, but everyone seems to be asking about aftermarket wheels... which I don't have
I need yet ANOTHER set of tires for my car, I think this is the fifth or sixth in 50k (besides the point)... And I was wondering, stock size is 185/60/r14-- Has anyone successfully mated a wider tire to their stock rims... and how much wider did you / can you go?
Thanks!

I used 195/60-14s on my 14" steelies without a problem. Stock for my '97 EJ8 is 185/65-14. They were Yokohama S306s. Pretty cheap and pretty grippy, considering they're a touring tire.

Thanks so much to the two of you, exactly the info i'm looking for. On tirerack.com , there is a set of kuhmo ecstas for 33$ a tire. Can't beat them!
