Default Civic Swap Electrical Quick Question

Hey guys, i'm doing a swap on a 99-00 SiR civic (B16A2) buddy blew the motor up from hitting 2nd instead of 4th at the top of 3rd and since it was very difficult to find him a B16A2 replacement we got a Japanese B16A instead.

Since the majority of the sensors and connectors on the intake manifold were different we put the B16A2 manifold on the new japanese motor.

So its a factory B16A2 harness and intake manifold with a japanese B16A trans and block.

Also using the factory B16A2 ecu.

If we manually trigger the injectors we see that they are working, and we've tested to see that they are getting power but it doenst sound like the ECU is firing them on its own. We are also getting spark.

The engine starts and runs when we manually trigger the injectors and "prime" the enigne with fuel. If we leave the injectors plugged in we get no fuel.

What sensors could cause the ecu to not fire the injectors if it was seeing spark? Is there a security fuel cut defence perhaps or does it need the crank position sensor from the oil pump?

I have a the OBD1 B16A ecu and harness adapter at home I forgot to bring it to the shop like an idiot! I'd like to know that I have the solution today though, i'm sure its something small as I know the engine runs fine.

If anyone could chime in and let me know that would be great thanks.
