Re: civic revving noises (=GAMEOVA=)
Sounds to me like the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV). Unplug it and see how it idles. Your IACV is probably located on the rear of your IM/TB area

I picked up a head for $175 shipped. As Bauley puts it, the JDM D15B is a destroked d16z6. It's basically the same thing. Everything you need to know about the Mini-Me swap is here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=554053 It's time for the newb to start researching I'm also just curious as to what exactly your car is. sedan/hb/coupe?

If I could do it all over again I wouldn't have done the head swap first. Transmission is the most important thing. Do the EX transmission, then a mild cam/ cam gear... and then do bolt ons or a block buildup...
A D15B7 with an EX transmission, P29 pistons, CRX Si Cam, and a good header would RAPE my setup...

But Bauley, you already have your head. So say you were to do this ^^^ exact same setup w/ the z6 head (is it possible?), wouldn't that rape the setup that you mention would rape YOUR setup?

No, because P29's in a Z6 is a bad idea...compression is like well over 13:1 AKA not streetable...P29's in a B7 puts the compression right about 12...

And there are no other pistons you can use to keep it streetable?
*sigh* I finally found some real good, sane, non-****-talking discussion on H-T
