Default civic rear disc conversion..does it matter what 40/40 prop valve you use?

im about to pick up a 97 integra rear disc conversion for my 92 civic..

and everyone is saying to get a 40/40 prop valve..

does it matter what car i get it off of? because i have a DA one thats a 40/40..i know it wont bolt up perfectly but it can work..
just wondering if there would be any difference between that and using one off of a dc2?

thanks

You don't need the 4040 prop valve with just the rear disc conversion. I ran rear discs without one until I upgraded the fronts to Integra. Pedal pressure and braking were the same prior to upgrading the fronts. But to answer your question, I took mine off a DA. It's the same thing except the mounting bracket is different. It's no big deal since you can still bolt it up.
