This is on a a 97 Civic ex.
I tried to search but was unsucessful.

Re: Civic OEM CD install (mistersparco)
What are you wanting to know? How to remove the old one? They should just swap right out when you get down to it.
Go to http://www.installdr.com to find out how to remove it if that's what you're asking.

Yes, you need the wiring diagram of the car it came off of and your car's wiring diagram. Then just match wires. I want to do this but i'm having hard time finding stock cd players...
and i don't trust ebay either....

you need an adaptor to make this fit in the spot on the dash that has the oem deck. It's easier to just use the din pocket.
also if you have OEM keyless entry, the keyless entry brain is in the OEM radio, so if you unplug the OEM radio your keyless won't work

Re: (t0ekn3e)
Would there be any clearance issues if I put it in the lower bin?
Granted it an automagic, I was wondering if CDs could be be pulled out and put in while driving?
