civic key cylinder . . .
i wanna get a new set but i can not find one.
i found a set for a CRV and i read somewhere that
they[the crv set] will fit the civic doors.

I believe Autozone might sell them. I know Honda sells them, even as a full set.

According to http://www.bkhondaparts.com , the key cylinders for the 1996-2000 Civics and the 97-01 CR-Vs are the same.
Look under "Body" then "Front Door Locks" etc. for any year and model for more interchangeability info. Just compare part numbers, or type in the part number at the top, and all the models that use it appear.
If you have time, you can also go to a junkyard, easily scrounge door locks, then visit a few web sites that describe how to re-set them for the key you have.
