Default Civic hx rarity?

I have been looking for a 96+ civic HX

They seem to be in very limited numbers

Any logic or reason behind this?

Where do you live? There are more types of certain vehicles produced in different parts of the country.

IE, the west coast has more hatches and sedans, and the east coast has more coupes.

HX's are pretty rare on the east coast if you're much further south than jersey/north pa. There's a plant in CT that sends most of thier hx's up to canada. Cali gets lots of HXs, as well as washington and oregon.
