civic:Gsr wiring harness on JDM ITR?

Default civic:Gsr wiring harness on JDM ITR?

Will an obd2 gsr wiring harness work with a 95 civic dx coupe with 98 spec itr swap i know i will still have to add vtec wires but is the harness compatiable?

no knock sensor or pressure sensor either correct?

go to honda and order a USDM Type-R harness

yeah. i love you too. itll all work. you MIGHT need to extend some wires, but it should work. but only the obd2 one.

yea it is an obd2 gsr harness.. i don't think i want to know how much one is from honda if they even sell one.. what wires would have to be extended? i have the jdm harness as well

it works, you don't need to extend anything. Honda sells engine harnesses, they aren't cheap though.

dont buy one from honda. they are about $500, waste of money if you already have a gsr harness or can find a used one.

for $500 i could get a tuck harness from rywire, but the gsr harness shouldn't throw a code or cause a problem in the obdI car though correct?

These pics should clear up any arguments over whether or not a USDM OBD2 integra harness can be used in a '92 - '95 civic.




All credit for pics goes to B18C5-EH2, who has been running this setup for years with no problems, running a chipped OBD1 P28. One thing to note, '00 - '01 harnesses don't have a tach signal wire coming from the distributor so you will need to add them.
