Default Civic fuel pump ?

Looking for a little info on a replacment fuel pump for a 93 Si. Well it finnaly happened after 16 years and 240,000 miles the oem fuel pump is going out. Please dont tell me to check other things like the relay or fpr everything else has been checked and the fuel pump is bad. I am looking for an in tank oem style pump. I have never had to replace a fuel pump in a honda so my question is what is the flow rate of the stock unit? The engine is stock other then intake header and catback. Dont want to pay dealer prices for a replacement so what are you guys running. started looking for a replacment and a lot of the universal units look like junk and the higher end units (walbro) I need to know what flow rate to get.

your motor is stock so you dont need to know the flow rate. most aftermarket fuel pumps at the auto parts comes with a lifetime warranty. no need for a walbro pump. dont waste your money

^ Oh really?

My Walbro pump, shipped, was cheaper than OEM-style replacement. Sure, I won't use 67 gallons in an hour ever (nor in a week for that matter), but at 90-something shipped may as well.

priced out quite a few fuel pumps running anywere from $30 to 230 for oem. the walbro in tank pumps were right in the middle of the price range around $80 but the only listings that i saw where based on flow rate. I would rather get a namebrand then some unknown china made univ pump that you end up replacing under warranty once a year if you even get that out of it.

your car has hella miles so you should also replace the fuel level unit as well.

Yeah i planned on servicing everything when I changed out the pump. She's got some miles but i have put all but 12 of them on the car I know this car inside and out. Still on the orig engine and trans all though I did crack the trans and replaced bearings and sync, and installed a lsd 2 years ago. I do all my own service work so this car is tight now i just have to get the rust fixed lol
