Civic front end convertion on a Del Sol?
i saw a post on here a wile ago but cant find it. i am painting my del sol electron blue (civic si blue) and want to do a civic front end convertion. do any of you have pics and know what parts i need to buy to do it? (pics of a electron blue convertion would be great) (and Dont flame , and No Haters )

i had a thread about this before. you need the 96-98 front civic bumper, both civic 96-98 fenders, and i think you can need a civic 96-98 hood as well. some people choose to keep the sol hood and it turns out terrible because it isn't long enough. if done right, it looks pretty good. another problem you might run into is, the height of the bumper in comparison to the rest of the car (ie. sides and rear)

oh, so its a 96-98 and not a 99-2000? do you know how to do the 99 convertion like these cars?

well thats not a stock bumper, but all you need is the civic fenders from the year you want, and the hood as well, unless you wanna go with a cf hood, in which you would need to get the civic 2dr hood for that year

Are any mods required to do that converstion? Like welding, custom brackets...etc. Will the fenders, hood, lights, and bumper mount right up using the del Sol mounts? I'm thinking about that **** too!!

Interesting, they look wierd, but kind of cool. Conversions confuse me.
