I just bought an Ek3 with the 3-stage vtec engine. I was wondering whether the engine works on 12V only if the green economy light is on or if it remains at 12V until you get to 2500+ rpm where the 2nd stage occurs. Thanks

eco mode can still occur, dependent on rpm and speedometer, of up to 75mph.

Yes it's an Ek3 Vti Jap import.

correct but 12v to 16v changeover will still occur at 2500 - 3k rpm.
