Default Civic EG4 MPFI conversion

Hi! im doing MPFI conversion in EG4 93 civic, it's OBD0 (EDM model), just wired up straight injectors to ecu, used D15b7 (MPDFI) dizzy. it has 2 addittional wires (CYP) Orange and white.

I get 2 codes when i jump the service connetor , O2 sensor (it's not wired yet) and and Crank sensor, checked and double check and looks ok to me (blue/green and blue/yellow).

Engine starts for 1 second then it stop. Any input?

Thanks!

retract....

The "crank sensor" code from the ECU is for the CYP sensor in the Dizzy.

The D15B7 doesn't have any sensors on the crank shaft, that came later in the 6th generation D16Y7 and D16Y8 motors from 96-00.

OBD1 still has a CKP sensor in addition to the CYP and TDC sensors. All 3 are in the distributor. '96 - '00 Have a CKF sensor on the oil pump in addition to the 3 sensors mentioned previously.

Thanks for the clarification.

At least I am on the right track of it being in the dizzy that the issue is on the 92-95.

CEL code 4?

For OBD0 Civics, the CKP/Crank sensor has an Orn wire and a Wht wire.

OBD0

For OBD1 Civics, the CKP/Crank sensor has a Blu/Grn wire and a Blu/Yel wire.

OBD1
