Default civic 96-98 bumpers
are all civic 96-98 front bumpers (eg/ek/2door/4door) the same/fitting??

VIS has different bumpers for 2/4 door '96-00 Civics and '96-00 HB Civics. I am not completely sure myself, but since this is the case, I would say that 2/4 doors are the same, but HB's are the different.

all 96-98 civic front bumpers are same no matter coupe hatchback or sedan...

OK, well for some dumb reason I read rear bumpers. Yes, all the '96-98 fronts are the same.

96-98 rears are diff: coupe/sedan and hatchback

same with the 99-00
