cigarette lighter

hi, i have just bought a 96 honda civic and the cigarette lighter doesnt work. does anybody know where the fuse for this is kept or if it could be anything else?

first of all SMOKING IS BAD, but damn its just soooo good! haha. if the replacing the fuse dont work, or if you cant find one, buy another lighter! they tend to go out after a while!

I have a 1997 Civic EX. I believe my cigarette lighter is detached from the wire connections behind the front facia. How do I pull the plastic housing off to get to the cigarette lighter connections behind the facia?
