I am looking for a good ride and I like the drop of the progress sport lowering springs and they arent that expensive. Although, I have used eibach products before and like the ride of the eibach sportline but hate the drop. This car is strictly for Daily Driving.

Any opinions and pictures?

what do you hate about the drop height? too low?

you can try the eibach pro kit. same quality as the sportline, just not as low. if thats your gripe on the sportlines.

The Eibach isnt low enough. I understand sacrificing comfort for lower ride height. Just need different opinions on the springs.

The Eibach sportline still gives 2 finger gaps around on the EG coupe chassis. But it rides GREAT! Just need to know different things on the progress

if u like springs that go low and have good comfort... u might want tolook into some tanabe drop feelings or some of there other products.. they arent expensive and ive herd only good things about them.. also try h&r they are all good... tein sustecs dont lower as much either.. maybe like a 2 inger gap but they ride better than stock.. so good luck with ur choice...

may also consider neuspeed race, soft for dd but drop is 2.25-2.5 i believe which leaves practically no gap at all.

i dont think any neuspeed race, h&r race, or eibach race spring is a good daily driving ride.

All of those are 400+ lb springs

yea, i have neuspeed race springs and i wouldn't recommend them for a comfortable ride lol. I used to have the eibach sportline springs but when i changed to neuspeed race i noticed the sportlines were much much more softer. Drop was the same and i have an eg coupe. Sportlines had a very good comfort ride though.

First...search around for lowered Civics until you find the ideal HEIGHT for you.

After this is done...look at all the springs available with that drop. After they are narrowed down....purchase the one that is a progressive spring, with low spring rates and you should be happy.

How much of a drop are you looking for? Lower ya go the higher those spring rates need to be to keep you off of your bump stops. Still stock shocks?

I have the sportlines on my DD and love them.

specifically I am fine with anything in the 1.8" to 2.2" range. Im looking for something that will line up the top of my tire with the fender. Sportlines give a boat look!

i couldn't be more pleased with the progress springs on my eg2. the drop in the front is great, about a .5-1 finger gap and the rear is about a 1.5 finger gap so it doesn't bottom out when you've got stuff in the trunk. it rides nice around town too, not too soft and not to rough.
