chipping a p28
sup guys .. i bought a stock p28 and the chip wasnt installed.. i have a chrome program for it.. anyway. i gave the guy the chip and the ecu and he tells me im missing a chip. Do all the programs come with too chips that need to be installed or what . Ive never chipped or seen it done. ive always purchased ecu's that were already done. lemme know.. thanks guys

i wouldn't bother with those one-program-fits-all chips. just start with a stock bin and tune from there... oh, and you need to get a eprom burner too.

For a P28 there are 2 chips, 2 capicators, 1 resistor, and 1 jumper cable.
That moates kit gets from me.
If you have someone doing the tuning you don't need the burner, but if you plan on doing any tuning yourself get the moates.net Burn1.
I went with the Burn1 and Uber1 for my uber/crome setup.
