I had a check engine light come on and i think it was for the 02 sensor. Well i changed it aand then reset the ecu and it came back on right away. After 300 miles or so on the new 02 sensor the check engine light shut off. i checked the bulb and its ok. What do you think?

sometimes the ECU will that, my buddy removed the cat (with o2 sensor) in his car and it took like 200 KM's before the engine light came on! same thing when he put it back in ( 100-200, before it went off)

i have a 00 si and my check engine light came on, i went and got the the codes pulled and it was for the 02 on my header. i have a DC header and the guy said it was normal for it to come on, is that true? the light came back on today and i unhooked the battery to make the light shut off. will the light keep comeing on or is there something else wrong?

I got the same problem with my check light with my 00' si...but I installed my skunk 2 stage 1 cams and the codes came out saying its my o2 censor and my macanhic told me just to ignore it.....but it keeps coming on and i alway have to restart my ECU to make it go off...i just installed the cams 2 weeks ago and its still going on almost everyday..i douuno what to do..any help?
