Cheap Turbo Build for EG9 4 door
What would be a good budget turbo build for a d16z6? Engine is stock, I want to pick up a block and head so I can start building it for about 260-290hp range. I want this to be streetable. Any input on setups, price range, and parts list is appreciated. I need this to be reliable. What size turbo fmic and so on...
thanks

Piece together your own setup. It's cheaper and you can bend it to your needs, opposed to a kit.
What kind of setup should you be looking at? None in particular. What you should be looking at is the search pages for the other 99 billion times this has been covered.

syn..... how do you expect him to "bend it to you're needs''? i cant even find a mandrel bender in my whole entire state, and its really expensive anyways.

Congrats, you missed the point of the entire post. .
By bending it to your needs I mean you're not restricted by the sized turbo and management system in the kit. You don't HAVE TO use the turbo that comes with it. Daily driver turbos are different than drag turbos, obviously you wouldn't want a tiny turbo on a car that redlines at 12,000 RPM.
By bending it to your needs I mean you can pick what parts you want to use - what sizes and such, not "whatever comes in the kit" or "the kit and whatever parts you choose to substitute out" - you pick out exactly what you want.
Think of it as building a computer - you can build it to what you want to do, whether it be a server, or a gaming computer, you can build it to your own specs by buying all the parts that you want for your particular application instead of buying one of those rip-off gay **** pre-made systems like dell that dumbasses who know nothing of anything always buy (laptops excluded).
Mandrel benders have nothing to do with my post nor were implied in any sort of fashion .
