Charcoal Canister
I bought a JG Edelbrock tb a while ago and since I've installed it I've had a surging idle when the engine warms up. There was a line running from the top of the oem tb to the charcoal canister that the new tb didn't have a place for, so I left it hanging. Just wondering if that would have anything to do with it? The edelbrock cancelled out the FITV so I can't adjust that, new sensors came on the tb so I don't believe it's that, just wondering if it's that line, and if so where should I re-route it too? I've heard of people removing the canister completely but it's always up for debate, so any insight would be greatly useful.

removing the canister shouldn't mess with your vacuum at all. It's pressure out of your crank case. More than likely you messed up when you bolted the TB up and have a slight leak. Look for it with some brake cleaner.
