changing stock struts in 2001 4dr civic need some assistance please!!
wassup guys.
my friend has been having problems with the REAR struts on the civic. I was wondering is the replacement of the stock ones pretty easy?? like i know there is 2 bolts on the top and on bolt on the bottom to release the strut assembly. I have the correct spring compressor so i was wondering i i would need a impact to take the top spring nut off?? or is it possible to take it off with hand tools. i know its easier with the impact but currently i dont have my compressor. so i was just wondering how is the strut assembly on the top looks like? is it like the tokiko where there is a allen on the top of the rod (I HATE THIS). and that way you can keep the rod from spinning or can you use a open end wrench style?? any info would be great i just want to double check and make sure since this is not my car and i dont want to screw anything up. aite mans thanks for your time and look. later. j
