CF roof cap a good idea?
i have a project hatch that im working on, and the roof is pretty badly dented from the windshield to about a foot back, all the way across (some dents like an inch or 2 deep)... i could bang out the dents as best as possible and wind up using tons of body filler but id rather just replace the roof cap . ive been searching for a while to find just an OEM replacement but i can only find carbon fiber skins or full tops. i had a friend say it was a bad idea because unless the car was fully caged, the tortion of the car under cornering would crack the roof. does anyone have any experience with this or know where to find just a regular top without pulling one off a shell?
