CF Hood question
I wasn't sure where to put this but it has to deal with tech (kinda) and a hood for an EG. Tom, feel free to move.
Ok i can get this brand new FI CF hood for $175. That is a great deal but it has "blemishes from transporting back from SoCal"
I was wondering if any ones knows if i could buff these out myself with professional tools or would i need to take it to a body shop? Also how much would that be? Lastly is this worth the cash?
thanks guys

its worth it for that price. and yes you can buff those out. they wont be 100% gone, but will be hardly visible. i had to do the same for my hood but I only paid 100 bux. **** loooks. your loosing about 20 lbs just like that! use both waxes though, the scratch removal then the polish!

Re: CF Hood question (Steve Berman)
You can do what Steve said. Works well. Just dont use marine wax and youre ok! You can also get the hood recleared at a local cheap spray shop or if any friends know how to paint. Will shine like a cheek on a bullied 6th grader.

Re: CF Hood question (Yamzz_EG)
I picked that hood up for $75, and it was worse looking than the picts you have. Also, it had a deep 30" stratch on it, on the passenger side. I had my friend at the body shop put 4 thick coats of clear on it, and then buffed it. Made the hood look brand new, even covered up the deep scratch. Point being, if you have a shop spray clear on it (if they do a good job - I've seen some shops do some fucked up **** to some CF hoods), and then buff it out, it'll look like a new hood again (looks like glass w/CF weave resessed in it )
