Default CF Duckbill Wing - Comparason Picts & Specs

Specs

JDMshit CF wing = 10.5" Long (Width
VIS Wing = 9.25" Long (Width)

JDMshit CF wing = 8 lbs
VIS Wing = 4 lbs

BTW - Both include hardware (bolts)

Looks real clean IMO. BTW, we're just calling it the "JDMshit" wing since we have more than one that we sell (we don't make them), and that it's a generic brand so we just labeled it for identification purposes. Thought you'd all like to see some up close picts of the 2 side by side. We'll get some picts this weekend of each on the car and how it fits, but at first glance (putting it up on the car w/out bolting it on) both seem to fit flawless on the EG hatch.

Looks great and all...But the VIS wing is the worst fitting wing out there. Don't think you have much up against you. Your wing looks nice though...What are the pricing specs?

PM me or email me.... don't want to post it up just yet (last time I did, I was dumping these too fast and was kinda killing the market..... but the price is still gonna be around the same so PM me or email me for more details - we only have a limited supply so first come, first served )

yes the vis wing is the worst fitting, i say take it to a shop and have them work with it to make it a perfect fit, i just fixed my vis wing just so it wouldn't rub the roof when i open the hatch. but 4lbs can't complain about that.

Is it cheaper than the posted price on your website?

Just took picts of both the VIS and "JDMshit" wing on a EG hatchback.... I have to upload the picts later this afternoon/tonight (damn digital camera USB cable is on my laptop at home), but with initial fitments..... the VIS wing was flush with the roof line, but the gaps on the side were horribly noticable. With the JDMshit wing, the gap on the roof line was a little bit larger, but still nothing major, but the sides fit perfectly. Again, I'll have picts up later this afternoon when I go home and upload them from there. BTW, the VIS wing looks more like a "duckbill" that has a bend and curves upward more than the JDMshit wing, where the JDMshit wing looks more like an "EK" duckbill that still goes up at an angle, but not as much as the VIS/Spoon wings..... when you put them side by side, you can barely notice the difference but if it's on the car already, you cannot tell at all.

I also sell these same style wings and must say these are definately the nicest quality top and bottom. The only thing I don't like is the EK model because it just looks like an extended version of the stock wing.

Nope, EK looks like a duckbill also.... goes up at an angle and looks very clean. I'll have picts of that wing on my hatchback later this weekend or next week.

Just got the CF hoods today that go along with the CF duckbills..... I'll have picts uploaded tonight of the EG hood by itself and on the car

Is there a metal plate, threaded for the 10mm bolts, molded into the fiber glass, or do the bolts just tighten into the fiberglass?

They both tighten into the threaded fiberglass.... like the hood hinges on a CF hood. But with the "JDMshit" wing, it comes with longer bolts so they go in deeper than the VIS wing (JDMshit wing = 1" bolts, VIS wing = .5" bolts) but both methods secure the wing onto the hatch very good (samething I had on my old CF duckbill that was on the car for over 2 years... then I sold it but it's still on there to this day).

That should give you a good idea how the "JDMshit" wing looks on the car. Very clean IMO, especially for a wing that's one solid piece (not hollow like the Aerospeed/crap style), has nice rolled edges, clean weave, and for a wing under $200 . Enjoy the picts.

The $245 price is for the VIS wing (real deal wing) and the "JDMshit" wing is under our Specials page on our website, and yes it's under $200 in price, while supplies last.

These are for the hatchbacks.... sorry, not carrying anything CF wing-wise for the sedans/coupes for now.
