CEL prob wtf

Default CEL prob wtf

Ok so I was driving real spirtied ly like and all the sudden my CEL comes on.

i drive home to check it adn viola!!


It gives me one long blink. Code 10 right?
Then, after a long pause, another long blink and then 7 short ones.

According to my haynes manual this is The Air intake and Vss sensors.

My VSS is working fine! wtf
and wtf is the air intake sensor

just to clarify

I have a Sohc VTEC d16z6 with a p28

IAT sensor i believe its called. Goes into your intake.

might be in the intake manifold.

try reseting the computer and seeing if that clears it up.

might have just been an intermittent failure.

the iat is on the intake manifold on the runner its either white or black has 2 wire plug on it. Like the last post said reset the ecu first

it mighthave been wire knocked loosed. I have an exposed ECU and was cleaning the car yesterday.

I pulled the fuse to reset but I guess that didnt work. Ill have to use the battery or pull the plugs
