Im from California ....City of Pico rivera...Yesterday my destination was Universal studios but before so i had to pick up My Mother in law and her boyfriend when i got there everything was good tell
i was reversing my mother in laws drive way slowly...i had my steering wheel turned all the way. idle dropped to where the car almost stalled..i rev'ed it the car tripped out the Check engine popped on...i drove a second i couldnt go passed 3000rpm i turned car off and on real quick nothing check engine still there....

. so i drove slowly to my Parents house to see if i can barrow a car instead of mine...After being inside my parents house for 15 mins i come back out to move my car the check engine is gone...nothing is wrong as if nothing happend? im trying to figure out if anyone can explain what might of happend so i can look in to it maybe replace/fix/clean before it happens again...

i just got my car out the shop , i took it in with a massive exhaust leak, instead of replacing oem manifold i put aftermarket header along with replacing fuel filter,valve cover gasket simple **** maintenance to keep my car running great.. and it does it runs awesome no problems tell yesterday it tripped out

but right now its good im driving it...

Second, is there any reason you decided not to pull the CEL code? Seems it would likely guide your thinking.
