CEL - crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor
hey gang,
I've got a 97lx with 200,000kms on it and it's giving me the CEL for "crankshaft speed fluctuation sensor - intermittent". I've cleared the code a couple times and it seems to come back after a couple days or when I ream the car up through the gears pretty hard. My question is a two part one:
1. Is this sensor something I can R&R myself in the apartment parkinglot with a socket set and hammer?
2. Will Driving the car around without fixing the sensor hurt anything?
any and all tips would be appreciated. thanks!
