Default CEL 45 Fuel system too rich or lean (Civic d16y8)

I have a 98 Civic EX with a d16y8. I recently did a 5spd conversion on it. Ok, the past few days I've been driving around my block for an hour everyday. Then today after driving it for like 15 min, I got a CEL code 45 (Fuel system too rich or lean). All I did to mess with the fuel system was adjusting the TPS to .5v at idle. It revs fine and all. I noticed that its eating my gas up though. So, could anyone help me fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Did you mess with anything else? Did you switch the ECU to the 5 speed ECU by any chance? The TPS isn't set with the car "idle" either... Key on, engine off, throttle closed, .5volts.

yea sorry I meant closed throttle and yes I used a 5spd ECU, if thats what you meant. By any chance could a leaking headgasket make my car run rich? Im thinkin its my o2 sensor.
