I got 2 CELs, one was 41 Primary oxygen sensor heater and second 80 EGR Valve/Line. This is a 97 civic hx d16y5 with over 200k. runs good but will run better if i fix both.

I have stock header to straight pipe welded to a aftermarket exhaust. its throwing code for 41 Primary oxygen sensor heater, that would be on the actual test pipe if i had one? so due to not getting stock piping or a test pipe, how can i fix this problem? do i need to cut a hole and buy a o2 sensor?


The egr problem should be fixed today or tomorrow. todays weather is actually nice and might go in and clean the ports.

bump! anyone know an idea they can share with the o2 problem? and i'm not really wanting to conver to obd1.
