Will my stock CD player and speakers from my 2000 EX coupe fit my 1989 Civic hatch?

Although I can't give you a definite answer, maybe this will help. Whenever I want to check whether or not a CD player will fit across car models, I check Crutchfield's website under the What Fits My Car? section. Try it, if I remember right, it gives dimensions on the bays, which would give you an idea.

The CD player should fit without a problem.... as for the speakers, I guess it all depends what you 89 civic holds. Pull off the panel, and take a look, otherwise they have a fitment guide in all the Crutchfield magazines.

Thanks guys. I'll check Crutchfield. I'm picking up the car tonight, so I didn't get a good chance to see what size the speakers were.

I found the chassis code and it matches up. Looks like the door speakers are 6 1/2, so those would fit. Now all I need to know is would I need any type of wiring harness to install it?
