Default a cat back exhaust question.

sup peeps?I was wondering, since the exhaust that I currently have is getting on my nerves and its already like 3-4yrs old, what can I get for cheap that will sound nice and add some low end.I was looking at this thing on ebay and feel kind of stupid just even thinking about getting it,but since i am trying to get far with low cash, things aren't working out.Check it out and tell me what you guys think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33630 I really want a greddy sp2,but they are so damn expensive.I have a d16z6 in my hatch.

DO NOT buy that man! It will rust inside a year, and will sound horrid, the amount of time spent designing that exhaust is minimal! IMHO go to a reputable exhaust shop, and have a 2 1/4" pipe welded on, and either ebay a muffler, or better yet go find a stock Si, muff, mine is pretty sweet sounding with stock muffler.

What? Megan racing makes some pretty decent ****, I highly doubt you'll find that system rusting in a year.

I really like the ES Oval system I have, custom made catback.

How is a stainless system going to rust? Anyway I'd look at the Magnaflow cat back system, they fit excellent and sound great and are about the same or less than that one on ebay.

if your not going with a custom exhaust system save yourself some trouble and get something that will last. Ive had a Greddy SpII on my del slow for a year and a month now with something like 10,000 miles on it. Started out with the d16z6 and it sounded ok and now with the b18b it sounds even better(like i have a little more *** under the hood) It doesnt sound ricey at all, an nice low tone, it starts getting louder at 3 grand and peaks around 4 then quietens back down after 4500. Sounds alot sweeter than a fart cannon. I could carry on a conversation with the top off my car going down the highway until I dropped in the si tranny. No leaks at all and the stainless steel finish still looks great. The only bling bling I have on my car. Not bad for 600 IMO.

my buddy has a megan racing catback on his sentra, it is VERY nice, the welds are superb and it hasnt rusted anywhere since he has gotten it. The only thing he doesnt like is the size of the muffler tip its 4" or something, but it sounds nice not like a hive of pissed off bee's...
