i asked this question in a recent post made by somebody else, but i guess nobody responded after, so here it goes.


my carpet is starting to look realllllly bad. its all discolored. is there a specail kind of spray that i could use to make it look like brand new? i thought i saw some stuff at kragen, but i dont trust half of the things they sell there. or do you guys pay to get it replaced with brand new carpet? thanks

Theres a capet/upholestery spary that comes ina white nad blue spray kinda can that works wonders on stains (look for it in carpet and autmotive sections of walmart or lowes). If your carpet is torn up and abused then just spend more to replace it, if it really matters to you.

I dont really care bout my carpet. I burned alot when my ampliefires power cable grounded to my exhuast cus tne dumbass that laid it put the fuse end of line on the amplifier side. That scared the **** of me when I was driving and smoke blew out of the vents and everywhere else.

My carpet had faded to a purple color, I got some fabric spray stuff from autozone or pep boys and it came out great. The carpet was a little stiff afterwards and smelled funny for about a week, but for 4.99$ I think it was well worth it

definately try to do something before you buy a new carpet...but DEFINATELY if you buy a new one buy a carpet already pre- molded to you your car it is more then a roll of carpet but it is worth it i know first hand i did it and it came out shitty..

kinda off the subject but...I wanna get new carpet in my CX...are all carpets the same after 1992?, that is what I keep on reading at online places is that 1992-2000 carpet is the same shape/form...is this true?
