To Carbon Fiber or not? Any Help or ideas?
Well Me and my brother are building a civic for mild show and performance. Its a 1992 civic cx with a d15B 1.5L sohc vtec engine. The car is white and want to know what you guys thing about putting a carbon fiber hood and abs spoon style mirrors on the hatch. Any input would be great and i'll even accept negative feedback but only if its constructive.

It looks good but it's unoriginal. You should have him think of something that you rarely ever see. I say a car the other day with one of those "see through" hoods. The only problem is that it was a stock, ugly, dirty motor that had not show to it at all. CF is good but try to stand alone (that doesn't mean 18 or 19 tv's in your car either).

im still trying to juggle/realize what you just said, no offense, you went from having my respect, to not in one post, why put graphics on it, be different from other show cars, make a kevlar hood, or better yet, a car made out of kevlar, just stay away from neons, 18's, and graphics, lord have mercy

but to give my .02, i think cf would look hott with your black and white color scheme in the interior, slam the car, and call it a nice little show car

Do it Do it.Do it Mabey if the graphic was a single stripe but I say the car would have to be dark to where you could barley see the stripe. In your case your car is as white as drew berrymores a$$ so mabey something simple like black or dark blue stripes and only one or two not a sunray of them. You can really funk your cars appearance.Really think about it because you may like it but the judges and your friends might not but who cares what others think, unless your taste is that bad in creating a car shoot for the stars.

I have money for whaever engine I want but I dont want to put a bigger twin cam engine cause I knbow the trouble i'll get in. I already been pulled over 6 times on this car and when they see the engine they dont trip like the type r I had on my 95 si (RIP). Since its a sohc vtec it looks normal and in its place. My friend got pulled over for the first time in his 93 H22 Hatch and he has to deal with the state reffere. I dont want to go through that. And carbon fiber sticker on stock hood? Are you joking I woul be really made fun of. LOL

Go spend the money and get it BAR'ed. Then cops can't mess with you for the motor, but unfortunately still can mess with you for any other mods like always.

Yo man go with the carbon fiber everything, hood, taillights, mirrors, with black housing halo headlights, along with some black wheels. carbon fiber on white always goes good.

Re: (streetracerof06)
good you think black housing halolights too? Thank god the other day I was going to buy chrome housing halos for 90 bucks but I think chrome housing looks a little cheap quality. Oh and I was going to go for black rims but decided dark grey with silver lip. Black and silver lip is to common and I dont see to many of my rims.
