What carbon fiber hood do you guys recomend? Please tell the brand. Im looking for one that doesnt require hood pins and no spaces. This is for a 2000 Civic Si.

carbin fiber hoods tend to spider when its cracked (like a cracked windshield), and fade in time. i hope you are aware of that. but i still love carbin fiber hoods. and i agree with the rest of the peeps that said Benen..

i have a Fiber Images hood. At first they shipped me out the wrong one. The frame had a piece on it that was supposed to be cut out at hte factory and wasnt. It sat really crappy on the car, my radiator bracket was lifting it up, and keeping it from closing correctly.

Its been 2 months already, and I'm still waiting for my new hood. Supposedly its on its way, and when you have to ship an order back it does say you have to wait 4-8 weeks on return orders. IMO, its a good looking hood, and even though i've been delayed in getting it, Albert over at FI has been very courteous and respectful, which is hard to do when you have a pissed off customer on your hands like me I'd reccomend their hoods, and I know my situation is an isolated one with their company. I'll post pics when i get the new one on

I have a hammerhead Aviation new and up coming depending on you year of hood they may have one for your car. There amazing fitment is perfect and there strong and would never need hood pins.

looks like a cwest front bumper if i'm not mistaken. those are the cleanest bumpers on a civic you can get IMO.

What's up with the under-skel? Only way to go if you're going cf is benen, or spoon, from what i've seen. I'm sure therea other companies, but they're the only ones i've noted that are a true cf hood.

It's true carbon fiber I assure you. The company does nothing but composites. If you don't like the weave it's your prefrence they have the small styles as well. Hell some people don't like carbon fiber at all. I more did it for the weight, I just can't find the reasoning for the cost to paint it or else I would.

I ordered my BENEN Carbon fiber duckbill, front lip, and hood in April.............I wish I could say they are great, but I still can't testify!
