weight wise there pretty close, u gotta go with who's more durable say if u tap a curb or something. Fiber Glass 
cause it's got flexibility. Not sure about CF

Carbon fiber is much more durable that Fiberglass man. And it flexes a lot more too.
Also depends on the weave.

the only thing ive ever seen close to this idea is a crx with CF hood, fenders, and front bumper. maybe try going that route, will probably be cheaper than having one custom fabricated for your car becuase i dont think any companies just make these.

I've never seen any thing from Import Fan! I was told by a friend that it's not the best.
