Default Car won't stay alive

Hi, I have a 00 civic Si with LS-V. I was cruising to work one day and all of the sudden my felt like it lost half it's power and right when i let go of the gas the motor just died. I started it back up but i had to keep giving it gas for it to stay alive as soon as I let go the car died again. I have no idea what is wrong. I switched my fuel filter but still nothing. Please help me! any advise is very appreciated! thanks guys!

CEL is on but my 02 sensor went out, rpms act normal it just feels like all of the sudden the engine lost all of its power, like there is not enough fuel coming in and as soon i let go of the gas the car dies! What could keep the engine from staying alive ? why did it lose power like if it had no compression or something. I don't see what could be causing this... theres really no way to check my CEL because i have a OBD2 to OBD1 harness and a del sol ECU or is there? What can i start checking for? Why does it die and lost half its power feels bogged! What other info do you guys need ?

try checking your ignition coil.
it might be messed up and it wont send a good voltage to the spark plugs.
and when you give it more gas, the extra gas gives it a better change to ignite

This can cause some stalling and weird-runnings in general.
