car wont start help

Default car wont start help

hey wassup guys...last night i threw my new skunk 2 intake manifold on today it ran fine. toward the end of the day my car shutoff while i was driving. the check engine light came on. I thought i ran out of gas , i pushed it to a gas station put gas still no start. It cranks but wont start. also I jump the two pin wire to read code. the check engine light wont flash.....im really lost??????

when you say "the CEL won't flash", do mean, it's not on at all with the jumper, or it's on steady w/the jumper?

when i turn on the ignition the check engine light stays on...ill insert the two pin jumper and it wont flash at all no movement

i believe your ecu just checked out. hit up search and see what you can find on CEL and bad ecu's.

ok, i did some research. no flash is a code 0, bad ecu or lack of power to the ecu. maybe for some reason you have a bad fuse or loose wire running to the ecu. i would double check both. sometimes it's the smallest problem that gives us the biggest headaches.

i checked fuse under hood fuse is blown , but why?

not sure, maybe a short in the wiring or the ecu itself. or hell, maybe the **** was just bad and checked out. it happens sometimes. just replace it and see what happens.

i have a good feeling that the only problem you have is just that fuse. but don't get mad at me if my feeling is wrong.

replaced fuse. still not starting ......i think im gonna have to pull out my stock dx ecu see what happens hopely dont kill this one too

Yesterday, checked wiring plugs the iat sensor had went bad the two prongs from the sensor were stuck to the plug . i pulled them out put a new 15 amp fuse for the ecu and it started right up....got ready and went to the track on sunday perris speedway.....
