ok so i first off by saying that you guys always helped me before so i hope you can help me on this one. ok so i just swapped a d15b8 with a d15b7 on a 92 eg hatch with obd1. the reason why did the swap was cause motor burned oil and leaked antifreeze. also the car would not run over 30 mph. so i had a spare sohc motor and i swapped it. so on the first day of start up i had just started cranking it and nothing. so i looked at the cables and i had the tpms and map sensor wrong so i switched it around and about a couple cranks it started up. so at first every time i would give it gas after about 3500 rpm the car would die out. so i had a check engine light on but it was to late so i left it for today to read the codes. so i wanted to turn the car on but no start at all.
i hear the fuel pump working cause i here it. i even when to get new gas thinking that is had old gas in it. i do have spark so i out of ideas. it was working the first day and now nothing the motor cranks but nada. i need some help to see if you can point me to the right direction. thanks

are you sure the motor is good? you have spark, fuel, also need compression

Yes the motor is good cause it was running the first time I started it

You should check compression definately though. Also just because you hear the fuel pump doesnt mean that its supplying enough fuel, so check that as well.

ok fuel pump is working but know i have no spark what can cause this. when i checked it the first time it had spark no i don't. so im lost all the grounds for the motor and trans are fine. so im completely lost ! help

Have you checked if your getting power to the dizzy?

no is there any other way to check if you got power to the dizzy with out a voltmeter or test light. or do i need these things??
