Hmmmm....Check your fuel pump pinout.
When I used a 01 GSR ECU in my car with 99 Si wire harness I had to change the fuel pump pin from A16 to A15.
Perhaps you are having a similar problem...but it is in the OBD2 to OBD1 harness.... If you can't hear the fuel pump when you put the key in the "run" position I bet its the problem.

Yes, you shouldn't have to change a thing.

Jump the A15 and A16 pins together.

u dont need to hack. u just undo all the pins, and plug them into the obd1 plugs. if u can read a diagram, you can save yourself $150. its just a pita. and u cant switch back and forth btw different obd ecus, etc for smog and other reasons

Re: car won't start after obd2-obd1 conversion (EAZY)
pulled out the good old multimeter, ahh, found the problems, damn t taps wasn't making connections, now the car starts up runs good, no check engine light,
but one more problem, no rpms not on the gauge cluster tachmeter or my autometer tach, everything else seems to be working, hooked autometer to the distrubertor tach wire, still getting no rpm, hooked autometer to the rpm signal blue wire by the driver side engine compartment, still no rpm, anyone got any suggestions what i should check for?
