sounds like the timing is off, when you put the cams in were they lined up properly, did you rotate the dizzy shaft 180 degrees by accident after you took it off to replace the cams??

it should run with the those big injectors just crappy and that putt putt is usually a good sign of a timing issue. check the to make sure the t-belt is on right @ #1 TDC ( just checking #1 cylinder closest to the belt) if all is good, try pullin the DIZZY out and spin the shaft 180 and bolt back on.

If you dont have a base map for those injectors your car is not going to run. .

Are you getting spark? I mean, all these other ideas and statements are good ones, but let's start with the basics, hmm? Let us know if your distributor is functioning and we'll go from there

if you are using the stock ecu with big injectors you will be getting WAY too much fuel. and it wont run

yeah, ill bet if you pulled your plugs right now, they are DRENCHED in fuel. If they are DSM injectors, dont forget, you need to install a resistor box!

I don't know about YOUR car, but when I had to swap my d16y8 (stock to stock) I noticed that I CAN'T put the dizzy on backwards. It's notched off center.

And I'd GUESS it to be a timing issue, too. No idea without seeing it, though.

I'd like to know if yours is the same...
