Re: car wont start
ill post a picture of what im talking about tomorrow cuz its dark out here.
but now my il cousin decided to help on doiing some things onto the car, and he got a little carried away and knocked the ecu harness cuz of that now there a check engine light and car sounds like crap, like every time i hit the brakes and let go the rpm rises 10 about 1500-2000 then back to normal, i hooked up the obd scanner and it whip out some codes one was the O2 sensor monitor and the other was the catalyst monitor and when i took a little drive the car was really jerky at 2nd gear

Re: car wont start
oh by the way i got a new-used ecu as we were figuring out if the ecu was bad on previous post lol, so basiclly now that new-used ecu has a bad code stored in it due to the harness being messed with, honestly glad i still have my old(first) ecu

Re: car wont start
Oh didn't know that, the codes that popped up was the catalyst monitor and o2 sensor monitor by what "I/M readiness" got and cuz of those the car ran like crap, but after I put the other ecu none of the codes came back and it ran fine, I guess something on the harness of the ecu got tripped or something

Re: car wont start
LOL all I know is the car ran better and drove it to wolly world for a test run. But yea I'll post a pic of the little plugs I was mentioning earlier when I get off work, the 2 little annoying piece of s****, that caused the car to not start and all kinds of codes whipped up

Re: car wont start
The "not ready" code will be set whenever the battery has been disconnected. It should clear itself after driving for a while with the CEL staying off. Also during that time, the ECU has to "recalibrate" its temporary (as long as the battery is connected) memory to the particular characteristics of the sensors and engine. This makes the car run badly at first. That will also clear up after driving for a while.

Re: car wont start
All SRS plugs are Yellow.
The Blue and Grey wire plug might be the horn plug if it goes to the steering wheel.
