Car Storage
Getting ready to put my hatch in storage. Mainly just drive on weekends and such. Can anyone give me any suggestions on maintenance/things to do. I know to get a battery saver but seems like they all use solar power and thats not gonna cut it in a storage unit. but should anything else be done. Thanks

definitely second the rodents and insects. mice and similar like to crawl up in the wiring and interior and eat it up.
depending on how long it sits, need to sit it on jack stand so the tires are off the ground. if it sits in one spot too long, you'll get flat spots and tires are ruined.
gas stabilizer is good for storage. and the battery saver will save you time when you go to drive it.
and depending on your paint job, i cover mine to keep all the dirt and dust from settling on the paint. a pain in the *** when it comes to washing it later.
those are the things i do to my classic stang when i store it. should be pretty much set. good luck.

Fill the tank full of gas, and add Stabil to it. Wash it and wax it. Roll the windows down a little bit, and put an air freshener in there.
Theres a couple things you can do.

Take the battery out. My car sat for 5 months when I was overseas. Put the battery back in and started like a champ. I love my honda/acura/me

battery shouldnt go dead.....i didnt use my car for like 2 months....i come back to her one day and she starts right up...and even if the battery does die(has to be a shitty battery if it does)...you can just push start it....
