car starts then dies right away.....
my car has trouble starting up. when it does start up it dies after about 1 minute. my rpms just fall down even if i give it gas. i start it bakc up and it will run for a little bit again and then just die. could it be my dizzy???

yeah could be your coil that's crapping out on you take the coil out and look to see if there is any sign of erosion or burns.

Clean all the ports in your throttle body really good, clean the IACV, report back. I'll let you know what you can do next if this doesn't work.

actually i just cleaned my iacv no more than a week ago. im thinking that it might be my dizzy. when i drive the car(when it used to run) my rpm needle would start to jump all over the place. even now when i just rev it, after 3k the needle starts to jump again. what do you guys think??

it's something do with spark...so yeah dizzy, wires, and plugs ...i got my new dizzy for 200$ plus my old dizzy at autozone, they got rebuilt ones...works perfect...
if ur wires are not transferring spark ur car will jerk...if ur plannin on buying some get aftermarket ones might as well cuz they are cheaper than oem at honda and thicker....try msd ignition

i checked and i have spark. for a jdm engine with internal coil, can i get any honda dizzy with internal coil?? arent all honda internal parts the same?? im thinking of just getting a rebuilt one. the place where ama get the rebuilt dizzy from is this mexican shop that rebuilts dizzies.
