car sometimes idles on low RPMs........
i have an EG with a D16y8
engine is fine but sometimes idles low
below the regular rpm when you are stoped
twice it turned off in a parking lot cause the rpms went really low and the engine vibrates
is this really bad?
it doesnt seem serious just vibrates and idles at like 100-500 RPMs
HELP!

the screen on the IACV (idle air control valve)...its on the IM. has a screen inside that gets clogged sometimes...you may have to clean it.

why cant people get this straight.
the stock TACHOMETER does not read how everyone is reading it.
there is the 0 meaning 0 rpms
then slightly above the 0 is a mark, its small that is 500 rpms.
then you have the 1 which is 1000 RPMS
there is no way you can tell you are at 100 rpms, and if you are your car is not on anymore, it just stalled on you.
