car shakes alot when stopped.
hi there peoples, lately i've noticed that when ever i stop my car at a redlight or stop sign, it starts to shake and the engine sounds like it's gonna die. i've search around a bit but am getting alot of mix results. some say is the fuel filter others say my fuel pump might be going bad or that the engine is bad. just wondering if anybody on here has had that problem before? i also notice that before this started happening sometimes when i drive the car kinda lags for a sec, almost like if the o2 sensor was going bad. does anybody know if these two problems are related? i drive a 96 civic ex. thanks

Re: car shakes alot when stopped.
Is there a check engine light on? Sounds like its missing if I had to guess. I would almost personally guarantee that the fuel filter is not the cause of this, I work at a dealership and I have seen original fuel filters in Honda with around 150000 and it still not doing much bad. MAybe some clogged injectors. Let me know if there are any codes stored for it, that would help a lot if there is.
