Default Car runs very rich.

i put a str fuil rail on stock injectors. ANd now im getting the shity 12 miles per gallon. there is like black crap all over the back of my car and its sticky and thick grease kinda stuff.

MY friend said adding a fuel rail increase something like volume, or can add more fuel. is this true could this be the reason i dont have 30 miles per gallon anymore.

Curtis.

Or could it be my tps or map or IACV.

Not the fuel rail unless you did something wrong. Probably a sensor gone. Don't ask me which one I am not to familiar with this part of a Honda.

Bump so someone can help you.

Do you have an adjustable FPR that you were messing with?

Change your O2 sensor, and check your timing.
O2 will not always throw a CEL

my friend swears up and down, its cause put a itr header on and 2.5 exhaust all the way back with a magna flow high flow cat. But i dont think a exhaust would make a gas mileage cut in half. is that possible.

Your gas milage won't be affected my a header or an exhaust unless you broke your o2 sensor. I would just swap back to the stock fuel rail, it's not like your losing any real power right?

I have 16's with 205 40's. fuel rail was just because it was cheap. and str, when you change exhaust could the o2 sensor go out cause the dramatic change in the exhuast flow, and how much exhaust is goin throug,

o and ive had the 16's for over a year now. never had a gas problem

Who did your exhaust? Is there any holes in the pipping so air can go into? I would recommend changing your o2 sensor.

if anything, the exhaust should have increased you mpg. I have a tenzo cat back on my si, and it gave me like 2 more mpg because of the reduced restriction.

thats what i was telling him. theres is no way i could believe that a better exhaust would = in you losing MPG. I think it was my timing. I will see though with the next couple tanks.

why dont you advance or retard your timing if you advance it and get more spark that should accomadate? for the extra fuel you are getting

well just an idea, did you reset ecu after mods, to accomodate for such severe changes to exhaust, and fuel induction system?
just a thought
