Default CAR NOT CRANKING NEED HELP PLEASE !!!

hey guys .. basically .. cars not starting ... car is a 96 honda civic cx ..stock motor ... i drove the car the whole day started just fine until later this night around 11 ... i turn the key and my cluster lights turn on ..headlights go on everything power works except the motor wont crank battery seems fine .. i let it roll down the driveway and started it in reverse .. i drove it around clutch is fine .. but when i turn it back off it doesnt crank again .. extremely lost here and im supposed to be taking a road trip tomorrow ...

my cuzin was installing my alarm yesterday but something wasnt working out right so he left all the wires and jus removed the brain ... car still started up fine with that said and all wires were covered no visible wires so shouldnt be anything making contact... also all of my fuses are perfectly fine .. i checked starter fuse ignition fuse and something else running out of ideas ?? anyone ??

Did the rubber stopper that presses on the safety starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal fall out or break?

You can buy a replacement at the Honda dealer. Some people hot glue a coin over the hole.

you could also unplug the switch and shove a paper clip in there(in plug not the switch itself). bright side of that is you wouldnt need to push the clutch in anymore to start the car

Not a good idea because it would remove the "safety" feature from the starter switch.

Is that the same for a 92 honda civic..because yesterday i was able to drive to work..with no problems..then i went to pick up my son on my lunch break from school it ran fine i had no sign of problem..i parked my car and turned off the car..i come back to my car to start it but it wouldn't start..I tried the jumper wires hoping it was a battery..headlights go, but the motor wont crank battery seems fine..
