Never thought i'd say it but my hatch was a victim today .... my car was broken into at work around 12:30pm i got out of work around 5.... my radio is gone,amp,all my cd's, bent my clutch pedal all up....(also autolock broken),ecu and vtec controller..... well guess im lucky my car wasnt stolen...i was gon order an new exhaust this week but now i gotta get this all fixed..cause car wont start now..w/o ecu and broken clutch pedal... try to get some pics up later when i calm down

not sure if i need a vtec controller cause some wires are clipped ... so it might still not start if even get a get a ecu...(can somebody verify that for me if thats true) or would the ecu know the vtec conn is not there and start up fine.... also how much and where can i get the whole pedal assembly....

yeah at fedex.... autolock got popped off ..but im assuming it gave him trouble ..but still he got it off and my clutch pedal is bent all up.

it won't start unless you re-connect the spliced wires that were connected to the vtec controller. I was a victim last night too.

that happened to a freind of mine's club memeber at ups, except they got the entire car :-(....its was a 4 door gsr turbo with a club, alarm, and autolock and they still got the car. thieves suck *** and best of luck to u man getting the car back to where it used to be. what i hate most is the cops where my car got broken into(they stole about 100 cd's, my head unit, racing helment, amps and even my ******* cell phone holder &gt;) told me if i didnt have my car look the way it did then i wouldnt have to worry. wtf its my fault that i parked in a student parking lot when it happened. now if theives come near my house they will deal with my gock 9mm when that alarm goes on now. last time no alarm(stupid of me yes).

it's alright man. i had my 99 civic si stolen once, and guess what was left inside? NOTHING!!! All metal!!! I use an autolock pedal lock now, but now it's messed up. Don't wanna let the secret out but it's pretty much defective and any theif can get in w/o the autolock key. i thought u get some kind of money from autolock because they got through ur autolock, don't you? Sorry about ur car, at least they didn't take that. My 'midnight rider' was gone for 5 days and came back with broken windows, ignition, dents, and scratches. after i get it fixed imma mos def get the snap off steering wheel cause truly ...this guy tried to take my car but i think since he broke the clutch pedal that he couldnt start it ..so he decided to take other ****... im on the LOOKOUT...

as u can see no more radio and ecu in this pic....the dumass even tried to take my **** but was so dum or shook he didnt even notice the key for it was right by the cup holder in the spoon bag it came in...fukka!

in this pic...he cut some wires i dont even know what that plug is for..if ne one knows gimme a holla..(im thinking he had to cut it to get my autometer gauge)

what is that white plug and those wires cut for??(need to know)
and is it fairly easy to install a new clutch pedal...

dammm...after hearing all these thefts with the autolock, i don't even trust it anymore...sorry about your car, i feel you, it happend to me last summer, but luckly, i only got my cd deck stolen...and yes, an alarm pager would help (compustar)

My condolences about the car. Stuff like that makes you so pissed, you work so hard for stuff and then it gets ripped off. Makes you just want to catch the suckers in action and rip then a new hole.
My heart races just a little right before I see my car after a long day at work. It would be terrible to see it gone. Good luck getting her back to working condition.

Reading on all these thefts and brake-in's I was thinking about a good security device. Think a alarm that locks all the doors and windows and releases a deadly snake inside the car!

Maybe, for the theives that get caught stealing cars from H-T members, we should post their names and addresses so all H-T members can harrass them whenever they want. Maybe they'd think twice about mess'n with a Honda!

Man, thats really messed up. People get so envious they resort to theft. In your opinion was the autolock a good thing to have. Why would anyone want to steal an ECU? Man... we live in a sad sad world. I hope you insurance will help you out and good thing your car didn't get stolen... that would be the bitch of all things. Going without a car sucks ***.
