well i ran into some problems with my civic...At first i thought it was just my battery but i changed that...I jump start it n let it sit for awhile then i turn it off...as soon as i try to start the car back up it wont start...need some help or advice to what is causing the problem...thanks..

it does not crank with the new battery...i can drive the car after i jump it but as soon as i turn it off..the car will not start or crank...the lights on the dash goes out after i try to start it...i assume something is drawing power but i dont know where from

Replace distributor cap and rotor, may be a bad alternator as well.

check grounds make sure the ground that goes to the battery is hooked up with a good connection, ya and check the grounds that goes from the tranny and the v.c make sure they r on good and have a good conection

i just got my alternator checked n its still good...checked the grounds and their still good too...pulled fuses and they are still good...like i said earlier battery is brand new but still the dash is still going out wen i try to start...still the motor does not crank...i can jump it to start but it does not turn back on wen i turn the motor off...need some help please!!!!

sounds like the battery is bad... you can buy a brand new batter and it be bad from the factory, maybe try and use a friend's battery and see if it works
